Harley Dogson
Ha Ha !!! i've just found out why I'm called Harley dogson. Pete's been tinkering in his man cave and has just shown me Bertha his Harley Davidson with my new custom made dog box for the back. I have my own personalised number plate and a very comfy bed inside. I've had a few test runs and am very pleased with my new mode of transport. We are now all loaded up and ready for a longer journey to Anglesey. Pete took it easy giving me three stops on route to stretch my legs, and Pam made full use of the comfort breaks. It's funny how she always has a pained expression when she's running to the loo and then walks back with a big smile on her face.

Look it converts to my bed for the night |
I'm so glad I wasn't called Rusty, just look at this rust bucket that Pete took a fancy to at the beach
I think this must belong to an elephant looking at the size of the poo bin on the back |
Woke early to lovely blue skies so it was straight to the beach for ball games, bury the bone at dinner time, a spot of sunbathing followed by a cool off in the sea. I was absolutely shattered later and had to be carried back to the apartment
I hope I can remember where I buried it? |
Where's the ball |
I could get use to being a handbag dog |
We had a trip out on Bertha to a nice sandy cove just past Trearder bay. I had a great time and even took myself out for a swim, Pete the chicken said it was to cold for him
Hurry up Pete and get me down |
Pete doesn't no what he's missing |
Finished off with a beer or three at Rhosneigr |
Wake me up at tea time |
Harleydogsons next adventure
We had no sooner got home and we were coming back again to Rhosneigr, but this time it was with grumpy Charlie. I had to get a game plan and quick to see if I could become top dog. All started well and even took Charlie by the lead to show him the way to the beach then the tables turned. He beat me paws down on fetch the ball and doggie paddle, I also noticed he had Tesco's finest salmon for tea and I was left with my dry biscuits. I did manage to grab the best bed for the after tea chilling, I think it was an equal round today and will have to see who wins tomorrow.
I don't know who looks the most upset |
Come on grumps its this way |
Oh your bum smells lovely |
One up for grumpy |
And I score the equaliser |
Best buddies harleydogson
It was 4 in a bed last night which was a tight squeeze but it did give me and Charlie plenty of time to sort out our differences and bond with each other. We both woke up best of buddies which was a good job as we spend most of the time in the apartment due to it chucking it down outside. When we did venture out Pete's 2 hrs of grooming this morning was a waste of time as we came back like drowned rats.

Me and my best mate |
5 minute break in the weather |
Not so cute now |
Charlie smells like a wet blanket |
I think I prefer the wet days so I can just lie around and chill! Not a chance today, bags were packed and we had an epic walk ( it was for me with my little legs ) along broad beach and over the dunes. We did eventually stop for dinner and I had a swim with Charlie which was great, and if that wasn't enough we were then whisked off to Newborough Forest for more exercise. Charlie is as fit as a butchers dog he just doesn't stop running for the ball. I think Ferrari Sam is right with his last comment about me having Pete well trained. When I'm feeling tired all I need to do is a little whimper and hold out my paw, he whisks me up in his arms for a cuddle and puts me in his man bag and carries me.
Check out my doggy paddle |
Charlie forgot how good it was to have a nose bag |
Charlie do a whimper and come for a ride with me |
Look it gets him every time |
The holiday is all over
We were both gutted to see Pam and Pete rushing round cleaning the apartment this morning and saying where's all this sand come from, Pete had to empty the vac twice. We made the most of the day and had a few hours left on the beach and Charlie made the most of the sea. We did start the holiday a little unsure about each other but have finished up best of buddies and think Charlie is the top dog, but not as cute as me. I have enclosed some of my best highlights and Can't wait until our next adventure
Look I must have grown as I look as big as Charlie |
I do love a good cuddle |
Who's pinched my head |
Hmm chicken and biscuits yum yum |
We both loved a lie in |
Oh your lovely cuddle pops Charlie |
I'm sure I buried it here |
Come on mate give us the ball |
